Big news! Amazon Logistics' new product selection program will be launched in April

On January 7, Amazon Global Selling announced yesterday that it will launch a new product selection plan for Amazon Logistics.

Amazon will launch the program in the United States, Europe and Japan on April 1, 2019. On Amazon US, eligible Amazon Logistics selected ASINs will have the opportunity to receive free monthly storage, free removals, and free return processing.

However, it should be noted that this program is limited to the use of new parent ASINs in Amazon Logistics, and within 90 days of the goods arriving at the Amazon operations center, Amazon Logistics will waive the monthly storage fees for the first 50 items of each new parent ASIN. In addition, for apparel and footwear products, Amazon Logistics will waive return processing fees for up to 50 items per parent ASIN.

Amazon US will waive the $100 inbound shipping fee for eligible sellers who are new to Amazon Logistics and register after the program is implemented. Sellers with an Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score of 400 or higher and no storage restrictions are eligible to join the program.

It is understood that Amazon Logistics implemented a limited-time fee promotion in March last year, where new ASINs that met certain restrictions could receive discounts on monthly storage fees and removal fees.

Influenced by the success of the event, Amazon Logistics decided to launch a new product selection program, which is also an enhanced version of last year's promotional event.

In addition, Amazon Logistics has become increasingly strict with its regulations on transporting goods. In November last year, it introduced new regulations requiring battery manufacturers and distributors to provide a summary of test certificates for battery products in accordance with the United Nations UN38.3 standard.
