What does ETD mean?
What does ETD on the bill of lading mean? The same abbreviation also has different meanings, such as ETD. Generally, ETD can be expressed in two ways, such as:
ETD=Expected Time of Delivery Estimated delivery time,
ETD = Estimated time of departure / estimated sailing date.
The specific meaning needs to be checked based on the actual content of the customer's email, and cannot be generalized. Since we are doing foreign trade business, of course we have to relate it to our own business stage. Of course, if you are really not sure what ETD means in the email (for example, a foreign trade salesperson received an email from a customer and the order said ETDCHINAASAP, where ETD means estimated time of delivery), then you might as well confirm with the customer again before making a judgment.
What is the difference between ETD and ETA?
ETD&ETA
ETA is the abbreviation of Estimated Time of Arrival, which means estimated time of arrival. Estimated time of arrival (at pilot station or anchorage) rather than arrival at berth.
