You can use the Pinterest sales channel to create product Pins on Pinterest that represent your Shopify products. Customers can learn more about the product through the product Pin and can click a link to view and purchase the product on Shopify.
Note: As of October 16, 2018, Pinterest no longer supports buyable Pins. The Pinterest sales channel can no longer be added from the sales channels list. If you're already using the Pinterest sales channel, Pinterest will convert your existing shoppable Pins into product Pins. You can continue to use the Pinterest sales channel to sync your products with Pinterest, and they will appear as product Pins on Pinterest.
To use the Pinterest sales channel, you need to meet the following requirements.
Have a Pinterest business account.
Use the Shopify Basic plan or higher.
Use the Online Store sales channel.
Add a refund policy for your store in Settings > Rules.
Publish products for product Pins
You can create product Pins on Pinterest using the Pinterest sales channel. Product Pins are Rich Pins that contain the latest image, price, and description of a product. Customers click on product Pins to view and purchase products in your Shopify online store.

When you make products available to the Pinterest sales channel, they are automatically synced to Pinterest as product Pins, but they are not pinned to any boards. To increase the likelihood that customers will discover your products on Pinterest, you can collect your product Pins on Pinterest boards.
Create a Pin of your product
You can create a Pin for a product using the URL of the product page. Learn more about saving a Pin from the web in the Pinterest Help Center.
Note: The Pinterest sales channel does not create Pins for your products on Pinterest or collect them on Pinterest boards.
If your online store theme includes a Pin button, then you can create a Pin for a product by clicking the button on a product page. You can also add a Pin button by customizing the template.

View product Pins on Pinterest
You can view your product Pins on Pinterest to see how they appear to customers. If you want to make a board that shows some or all of your product Pins, create a new board and copy your product Pins to the new board. Pinterest users can discover Pins in feeds, search results, and boards.

If you develop a Pinterest community and encourage users to share your Pins, your Pins will rank higher in searches on Pinsrest. You can increase engagement with your Pins in a few ways:
Add a call to action (CTA) to your Pin’s description, like “Share this Pin!”
