Can the same person or company register multiple Shopify accounts?
Shopify does not limit the number of registered accounts. Shopify supports registering and managing multiple Shopify accounts with the same email address, the same IP address, or the same credit card. But a Shopify account can only be associated with one store.
What should I pay attention to when registering a Shopify account?
Merchants only need to fill in their personal or company information accurately and clearly during the registration process (in both Chinese and English), and provide their credit card information (Visa or MasterCard, etc., which must support US dollar payments) to pay Shopify's monthly rental fees. We recommend that you turn off all VPN tools before registering and use a corporate domain email (if registering for a company).
Why can't I log in or my Shopify account is unavailable?
Your account cannot be logged in or displays "Currently unavailable" due to the following reasons:
Account automatically closed: Please refer to our Merchant Terms of Service to understand our minimum requirements for merchants. If your account is blocked, we recommend that you contact our customer service staff for more information and attempt to appeal.
The login page is unresponsive (Shopify login button is gray): You can try to log in using the second-level domain name/admin, that is (youraccountname.myshopify.com/admin) or the top-level domain name (yourdomain.com/admin). If the problem is not resolved, we recommend that you contact our customer service.
Require non-bot verification: If you repeatedly enter the wrong password when trying to log in to your Shopify account, Shopify will use a verification tool to ensure the security of your account. You just need to follow the prompts.
How do I choose a Shopify website theme?
We recommend that you choose a template from Shopify's official theme store. We will conduct strict quality and performance evaluations on all templates listed in the mall, and provide official customer service support for all listed templates. In addition, the templates you obtain from the Shopify Theme Store can be used permanently, whether free or paid versions. Merchants can also upgrade templates on their own according to notifications from template providers. We do not recommend that you use third-party templates that have not been officially reviewed and released by Shopify. Users do so at their own risk.
Can Shopify's templates be modified?
You can modify your template easily and conveniently through the template editing function settings in the background. You can also make more changes by editing the template code. You can refer to our Help Center (help.shopify.com/manual/using-themes/change-the-layout) to learn more. The Shopify platform does not limit the loading speed of merchant websites. The two main factors that affect your Shopify website’s loading speed are the images and apps you have configured for your site. We recommend that you optimize the images on your website. You can also find an image compression application that suits you in the Shopify App Store: (such as: Image Optimizer, etc.). In addition, control the number of your apps reasonably, and apps that are no longer used can be uninstalled from the background with one click.
