Amazon’s action of restricting reviews has become common during the recent rectification. If your reviews are restricted, it will still be handled according to the situation.
The reason why a listing is restricted from posting reviews may be due to an accidental error by a system robot, or there is a high possibility that fake orders (manual manipulation of reviews) have been identified by the system.
1) Regarding accidental injuries.
① If a small number of reviews of the listing have been deleted and the ability to post comments has been restricted. The main reason for this situation is that the number of listing reviews exceeds the ratio of the listing's own reviews to the total number of orders, so the comment action is restricted.
There is nothing wrong with the reviews on this listing, which means it cannot prove that you have faked orders. It’s just that your reviews exceed the number that the listing itself should have (this number is determined by Amazon robots based on the results of calculations in Amazon’s large database of each category).
So, if this is the case, don’t rush to move the warehouse and put a new listing on it.
When the sales of your listing go up, for example, the number of reviews accounts for 3-5% of the total order volume, the review function will be restored naturally (the key is still the number of orders).
② If all the listings of a seller’s product are sold out, Amazon will review the seller’s store, resulting in review restrictions (you have not conducted any illegal operations such as fake orders).
This requires you to get it back by filing a complaint with Amazon. It is possible that Amazon deliberately pulled it into the review stage, the chance is relatively high.
2) There are restrictions on posting reviews for fake orders.
Amazon will judge reviews based on the following four points:
①Abnormal IP address login;
② Abnormal review frequency of buyer accounts;
③ Abnormal review frequency of sellers’ listings
④Operation method: Use the exact same method to quickly operate reviews on the same listing in a short period of time. If one or more of these four conditions are met, the reviews of the listing may be emptied. Such listings cannot be saved by reviews, and the listing itself cannot be saved. It is just a naked wait for death.
What is the common approach in this situation?
① Directly abandon the listing, withdraw the inventory, and create a new listing;
②Create a self-delivery link, bind it to the original link, and use the self-delivery link for review;
③Bundle other listings and share reviews;
④ Follow the sale with a small account, then list multiple variations, add reviews to the variations, and then bundle and merge;
⑤ For restricted review listings, if the current price is profitable and the sales volume is still stable, sell out the FBA inventory under the current status;
If a seller’s product listings are sold out, Amazon will review the seller’s store and restrict the sales rights of the relevant account. This is a more serious problem. The account can go through the appeal process and there is a relatively high chance of restoration. However, the corresponding listing comments will not be restored and it will take a long time, at least 20 days.
There is also some information that can be provided (for reference only):
1. If the ASIN that is restricted from leaving reviews does not have any abnormal order-brushing behavior in the next 28-30 days (based on system judgment), the system will automatically lift the review restriction.
2. The core idea of the above operation methods to remove restrictions is that the ASIN has been changed, and the system recognizes it as a new ASIN, so there are no restrictions. However, most of the sales weight of the original product will be lost, and the keyword ranking or etc. may have to start over. If you are not mentally prepared, use with caution.
3. If you are sure that your product has not been falsely ordered, sent for testing, or had no false reviews, then you should first contact customer service to have it put back into the system for identification. Healthy, natural and without "additives" is definitely the first choice. The second is to solve it through other means.
4. A small number of reviews that have absolutely no violations may also be deleted. You need to communicate more with customer service, but the hope of recovery is not great.
