If a seller’s product listing receives a negative review, it must be dealt with immediately. So how do you delete negative reviews? There are three methods that sellers are familiar with: contact the buyer who left the review to delete it actively, delete it through tools, or ask Amazon content staff to delete it.
1. the buyer who left the review to delete it
Find the buyer’s contact email or phone number through the negative review link, and then proactively write an email or call the buyer directly to communicate and negotiate a solution.
If the company has a colleague who speaks fluent English, you can ask him to communicate with the buyer directly over the phone, which will be most effective and will not leave any evidence. If you write an email, you will be subject to the situation that the buyer does not check the email in time or it is sent to the spam folder or rejected by the buyer's email server, which is very passive.
There are certain risks in contacting the buyer. If you meet a very open and nice buyer, it will be easier to communicate with him. You can usually solve the problem by showing your attitude of "apologiz" and explaining your plan to upgrade the service. If the customer is more concerned about his or her financial loss, you can apply for a refund for the customer through the Amazon backend, and then send the customer a new product for free! If you encounter a more conservative buyer, he or she will think that you are disrespecting his or her privacy by contacting him or her, and will therefore go to Amazon to complain about you, which will have the opposite effect.
2. Delete using software tools
There are software programmers recruited by service providers on the market who use high-powered buyer accounts to click Report abuse of negative reviews in order to delete the negative reviews.
This also has a success rate, but it is not a 100% deletion. If the buyer's account that clicks REPORT has a high weight, such as a PRIME member for more than one year, and has many successful shopping records, using them to click REPORT will definitely be the most effective!
3. Ask Amazon internal staff to delete it.
Amazon has been making a lot of noise about anti-corruption, and some people who violated the rules by deleting negative reviews have been fired, while others have retired. However, the temptation of money is great, and deleting negative reviews through internal channels still exists in the cross-border e-commerce service provider industry.
