Do a good job of Amazon advertising to increase brand exposure and store traffic. So what does our Amazon advertising include and how do we set up our Amazon advertising?
Types of Amazon Advertising:
CPM (Cost Per Mille) Cost per thousand: Advertising partners pay when the advertising content is shown to a sufficient number of users. For example, this method is quite common in our news industry!
CPT (Cost Per Time) Cost per time period: As the name suggests, the advertising cost is calculated by the duration of the advertisement!
CPC (Cost Per Click) Cost per click: charges are based on the number of times the ad is clicked. Keyword bidding generally adopts this model. Almost all platforms in the cross-border e-commerce circle charge in this way, which is reasonable!
Requirements for pay-per-click advertising on the Amazon platform:
1. Amazon sellers’ products must have a Buy box before they can participate in pay-per-click advertising activities! If they don’t have one, they cannot participate!
2. The seller's sales plan must be a professional seller (Professional seller). If you do not meet the requirements, you cannot participate!
3. Don’t set competing brands as bidding keywords
4. You cannot set keywords that have nothing to do with the product. Of course, almost no one does this, but it is also a requirement.
5. Pay-per-click advertising is not allowed in the digital camera and jewelry categories of the US site, and the clothing and health care categories of the UK site!
Basic requirements for Campaign in-site advertising listings:
I will just briefly go over the detailed steps and not show them in screenshots:
Go to Seller Central, Advertising > Campaign Manager, and click Create a campaign.
Once you enter the Create Ads page, follow the instructions to enter the name of your campaign, your daily budget limit, and the start date.
Amazon provides two options for selecting keyword acquisition methods: Automatic targeting and Manual targeting.
You can create multiple Ad groups under one Campaign, with different click budgets. Products in the same Ad group share the same keywords, so you can create Ad groups based on categories. Follow the image below to fill in your group name, budget per click, and select the product you want to advertise.
Once the campaign is set up, it will be available for buyers to click on in one hour.
Specific requirements:
1. The first picture of the product should be carefully selected. It is best to be very clear and meet Amazon's requirements. It is recommended that you learn how to select pictures from those best-selling products.
2. More than ten reviews and a rating of 4 stars or above, a hard requirement.
3. Adjust the listing so that the most core sellers are placed at the front as much as possible.
4. Set competitive prices based on your products and your peers.
