Amazon Japan offers two selling plans: Professional Selling Plan and Individual Selling Plan.
The Professional Selling Plan supports selling in more categories and provides you with convenient seller platform tools, sales guidance, and more. If you only sell items occasionally, you can choose the Individual selling plan.
The two sales plans can be converted into each other. If you choose the Personal Sales Plan when registering, you can upgrade to the Professional Sales Plan by yourself in the background later; if you choose the Professional Sales Plan when registering, you can also downgrade to the Personal Sales Plan later.
Sellers who choose the professional selling plan need to pay a monthly rent of 4,900 yen, but do not need to pay the unit selling fee (100 yen per item)
Amazon will charge the lower of the applicable fees described below and any fees notified to you (such as promotional fees that Amazon may apply from time to time). These fees do not apply to certain sellers (such as warranty providers and other service providers), who will still be required to pay selling fees at the rates set forth in their program agreement.

Sales expenses
When your item sells, Amazon collects payment from the buyer (which includes the item price and any shipping, gift wrap, or other charges). Media products (books, music, videos) sold by professional sellers and all products sold by individual sellers may be subject to Amazon shipping fees. Only Professional Sellers can provide gift wrapping services.
Cost per item
Professional Sellers: No per-item fee
Individual sellers: 100 yen per item sold
Sales Commission
Sellers pay a referral fee for each item sold.
The volume is calculated based on the dimensions of all goods stored in Amazon's fulfillment centers, and the actual storage space occupied by the goods stored in the fulfillment centers is calculated every day. The following inventory storage fees are charged monthly only for the actual space occupied.
For example: the size of a child's toy is 35.5×22.5×11.4, and there are 30 days in June.
Calculation formula: 7,800 yen × {[35.5 × 22.5 × 11.4 / (10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm)]} × [30 (number of days of storage) / 30 (number of days in the month)] = 71.024 yen
The storage fee for this child item is 71 yen.
