Comparison of Amazon's shipping methods

Currently, there are three main ways for Amazon, a cross-border e-commerce platform, to ship goods: FBA, third-party overseas warehouses, and self-delivery.

1. FBA

Advantages: Fast logistics, increased customer trust, and improved listing rankings. If you receive negative reviews from buyers due to logistics reasons, Amazon will help remove them.

Disadvantages: The overall cost is slightly higher, the first-leg operation is cumbersome, and you need to do customs clearance yourself. The buyer return rate is likely to increase, which increases the cost of inventory pressure. The return address only supports the United States (when doing US FBA).

2. Third-party overseas warehouse

Advantages: Reduce logistics costs, speed up logistics time, help develop local markets, and the cost is slightly lower than FBA.

Disadvantages: high inventory pressure, risk of overstocking, uneven management levels of third-party overseas warehouses

3. Self-delivery

Advantages: Reduced inventory costs, low storage costs, and more flexible operations.

Disadvantages: Listing exposure and ranking are less than FBA, it is easy to get bad reviews from customers due to logistics reasons, and without the Prime logo, it is difficult to win the favor of Prime members.
