On December 21, eBay recently announced that during this year's Christmas and New Year holidays, as long as sellers continue to meet the processing time expectations set in the item listings, even if delivery delays occur, it will not affect the seller's account performance rating.
The announcement showed that eBay understands that both buyers and sellers have concerns about the delivery time of items during this holiday season. eBay will do its best to assist buyers and sellers in resolving this issue. While there may be some unpredictability in delivery, we believe that most items are still delivered on time. eBay will manage the estimated delivery date and as long as the seller ships the item promptly within the stated handling time, seller performance will not be impacted and eBay will notify buyers of expected potential delays.
Additionally, eBay will update estimated delivery dates to provide buyers with accurate information. At the same time, eBay requires sellers to comply with the processing time requirements specified by the sellers themselves, complete the delivery of items, actively cooperate with buyers to resolve problems when they arise, and keep updated inventory.
eBay also recently announced adjustments to the eBay Traceable Logistics Management Program policy for approved logistics suppliers. According to eBay data, eBay transactions using logistics supplier KWT Logistics' recent logistics performance seriously failed to meet eBay's logistics requirements, resulting in a continued increase in sellers' logistics defect rates.
In view of this, eBay decided to remove KWT Logistics from the list of approved logistics suppliers in eBay's traceable logistics management program policy starting from December 27, 2019 (trading day).
