What is KeyforGarage?
Key for Garage allows eligible Amazon Prime customers (hereinafter referred to as buyers) to make deliveries in their garage using the "Key Smart Garage Kit" by selecting in-garage delivery at checkout.
Buyers can also monitor the status of the garage door and open or close it remotely by using the Key by Amazon App or Amazon Cloud Cam.
How can I use KeyforGarage?
1. Buyers must subscribe to Amazon Prime to use the service;
2. Buyer needs a myQ-compatible garage door opener from Chamberlain or LiftMaster.
3. Amazon is currently selling the MYQ Smart Garage Hub for $49.99, or you can bundle it with the Amazon Cloud Cam for $124.99. Using Cloud Cam, users can see video footage of the entry into the garage, so users can always check when a package is delivered and see exactly what the delivery person did when they entered the garage.
KeyforGarage's product requirements:
Packages cannot weigh more than 50 pounds, cannot exceed 26 x 21 x 16 inches, and cannot be valued at more than $1,300.
If these transactions occur with third-party sellers on the Amazon platform or require a signature, users will not be able to choose in-car transactions. In-car deliveries will also not be available.
