What is Amazon Category Audit?
Amazon category review is Amazon's hope that buyers can shop on its platform with confidence. Amazon may impose additional fees, performance checks, and additional eligibility requirements for some products and categories. These categories require review, mainly due to reasons such as safety, quality, brand, and import and export restrictions. Specifically, Amazon policy requires that certain products sold through Amazon must meet specific certification standards.
What materials are needed for Amazon category review?
1. Receipts, packing lists, invoices (professional VAT invoices or ordinary VAT invoices) must be valid documents within 90 days and must include the address and contact information of the supplier and purchaser.
2. Authorized and formal UPC code.
3. Relevant certificates. For example, the CE certificate for electronics; the FDA certificate for cosmetics and skin care products; and the nickel content certificate for jewelry.
4. Corporate website. It must be a corporate website with a first-level domain name.
A deposit of USD 5,500 is required. This deposit is required for high-end jewelry and is non-refundable.
6.5 pictures. It is recommended to use the JPG format. The background must be pure white (255:255:255). The product must occupy more than 85% of the image. The image must not have borders, watermarks, etc. It cannot be an electronically synthesized drawing. There cannot be other accessories unrelated to the product.
7. Send samples. Sellers selling high-end jewelry need to send samples to Amazon’s review team for inspection.
8. Product batch list. Pictures, descriptions, titles, etc. all need to comply with Amazon’s requirements, and at least one product variant is required.
