Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has announced that registration for seasonal discounts during this year’s Ramadan will open until Wednesday, April 14, to enable owners of stores and e-commerce platforms to submit applications. Issue discount permits electronically.
The discount service issued more than 29,000 licenses in the first quarter of this year, covering 5 million products and issuing more than 300,000 licenses.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce revealed that issuing seasonal price reduction permits electronically makes it easier for merchants to apply for permits, enabling them to provide their own electronic discount data and also allowing them to print out the electronic permits, ensuring that false discounts are reduced and promoting a healthy business environment.
For its part, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce requires owners of e-commerce platforms and stores who wish to benefit from the service to apply for a rebate license by entering the electronic rebate system MCI.gov.sa and selecting the type of license. And complete the remaining steps through the online portal.
