How to publish products and what are the requirements when opening a store on Facebook?

After you set up the Facebook sales channel and Facebook has activated the Shop section on your Facebook Page, you can publish collections to Facebook, create special collections just for Facebook, or hide individual products from appearing on Facebook.

Products that you offer to the Facebook sales channel appear in the Shop section of your Facebook Page. You can publish products to this channel in Shopify, and any changes you make to your products will automatically update on Facebook. Although you may see your products appear in the Shop section before Facebook verifies your information, your products will not be visible to customers until the setup process is complete. Before you start selling on Facebook, make sure you review Facebook's Commerce Merchant Agreement, including the Commerce Policy, which details which products are prohibited from being sold on Facebook.

You can also share your products on Facebook without selling on Facebook.

If the Shop section doesn't appear on your Facebook Page, then make sure that there are no errors on your Facebook Account page in Shopify, that your Facebook Page is published, and that your Facebook Page is using the Shopping template. You may need to enable the Shop section in Facebook.
