Methodology & limitations

Editorial guidance and source-based analysis. No controlled hands-on product benchmark is claimed.

Translate goals into deliverables

“Build a high-converting store” is not a project specification. Define page types, catalog import, integrations, mobile requirements and content responsibilities. For every item, state the deliverable and the acceptance action.

Compare the same scope

Separate design rounds, implementation, assets, app licenses, training, launch assistance and maintenance. Document exclusions. For advertising work, distinguish media spend from service fees.

Keep control of business assets

Create business-critical domain, store, payment and advertising accounts under the business’s control, then grant appropriate access. Agree source-code, design-file, data and licensed-asset ownership. Remove access that is no longer required after handover.

Use milestones and acceptance criteria

Plan requirements approval, page review, integration testing, launch and observation. Assign an owner and an issue list to each stage. Separate controllable delivery quality from promises about commercial results.

Sources & disclosures

Independent editorial content. No sponsored placement or fabricated test score.
