Answer the buying questions
Check names, variants, dimensions, materials, usage limits and care instructions. Images and descriptions should agree. Click through each variant, including its price, image and unavailable state. Important conditions should be visible before checkout.
Test as a customer, not an administrator
On a phone and a desktop, start at the homepage and complete a test purchase. Change a cart item, apply a discount and try a different shipping address. Confirm that previous choices remain intact.
Test failure paths too: declined payments, interrupted connections, repeated clicks and insufficient inventory. A logged-in administrator may see a different storefront from a first-time visitor.
Include after-sales operations
Document cancellation, returns, refunds and damaged-parcel handling. Your published promises must match operational capacity. Review any region-specific obligations with appropriate guidance rather than treating a template as legal approval.
Check reporting and access
Compare purchase events with order identifiers, currencies and totals. Label test orders, list recurring charges and assign budget owners. Back up the theme and key settings. Limit payment and domain changes to the people who need those permissions.
