What is Amazon Smile?
Amazon Smile is a charity project of Amazon. Without adding any additional burden to consumers, it will donate 0.5% of the consumer's shopping amount (excluding shipping, packaging, service fees and taxes) to the charity designated by the consumer.
The charity platforms involved in AmazonSmile include the American White Cross, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, DoSomething.org, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Charity Water (committed to providing clean drinking water and reducing water pollution in developing countries), Doctors Without Borders, World Wildlife Fund, ALS Living Fund Inc, etc. There are more than one million eligible charitable organizations to choose from.
How to use AmazonSmile?
Just go to https://smile.amazon.com/ when shopping on Amazon (it’s exactly the same as the page on Amazon.com), and Amazon will donate 0.5% of every dollar you spend to the public welfare group or charity you designate. In other words, if you spend $1,000, Amazon will donate $5.
