Driving south along Zhenghan Street in Jinyi Urban New District, two "twin towers" with more than 20 floors attract people's attention. This is the Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone Comprehensive Service Area ("Jinyibao"), which includes a comprehensive service center, hotel, office building, convention and exhibition center, and commercial complex. Now, the Free Trade Zone Convention and Exhibition Center has been completed. The opening ceremony of this year's Cross-border E-commerce Conference will be held here, with a scale of 800 people. This is also the first appearance of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone Convention and Exhibition Center.
The building height of the convention and exhibition center is 22.5 meters, and it consists of two parts. One is the lobby, which is about 1,500 square meters, and the other is the highlight - the convention and exhibition hall, which covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters. We learned from the comprehensive insurance company that the construction of the convention and exhibition center began on February 15 last year. After more than a year of construction, the construction and decoration were completed in September this year. Guests attending the opening ceremony can get a glimpse of it.
After the opening ceremony, the convention and exhibition center will carry more cross-border e-commerce functions. Jinyi Urban New District has a long-term vision - based on the Global Cross-border E-commerce Conference, it uses the Comprehensive Bonded Zone Convention and Exhibition Center as a carrier, fully leveraging the resource advantages of previous events to form a differentiated convention and exhibition layout with Yiwu and Shanghai. Use conferences to drive exhibitions, and use exhibitions to promote conferences, achieve a win-win situation for "exhibitions" and "conferences", and create a cross-border e-commerce import expo with far-reaching influence.
As the first major functional platform for opening up to the outside world approved by the State Council in Jinhua's history, Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone has lofty ambitions - with cross-border trade as its feature, the first phase of "Jinyibao" covers an area of 1 square kilometer, with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan. It is divided into five functional areas: port operation area, bonded warehousing area, bonded processing area, comprehensive service area and trade display area. From the commencement of construction and completion, to passing the provincial pre-acceptance, national comprehensive review and acceptance and then to closing the border for operation, from a virgin entrepreneurial land waiting to be developed in the core area of Jinyi Urban New District to an international trade base standing at the new fulcrum of the central Zhejiang urban agglomeration, "Jinyibao" has created Jinhua efficiency.
In the future, Jinhua will rely on the Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone to become a more open new highland. "Jinyibao" will open up new channels for mutual promotion of development of Jinhua, an inland city, both at home and abroad through the new practice of district-city linkage, district-district linkage, district-county linkage, and district-port linkage. The efficient operation model provides a good operating foundation for cross-border e-commerce and also brings a more convenient way for Jinhua local citizens to purchase imported goods.
A merchandise display area of 200,000 square meters is currently being planned and designed. This can be seen as an upgraded version of an outlet mall serving cross-border e-commerce, providing an integrated experience of shopping, entertainment, and travel including O2O experience of imported goods, online and offline, hotel accommodation, business office, and sightseeing.
Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone will stand at a new starting point for development. Recently, the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Municipal Government respectively reviewed and approved in principle the "Plan for Cooperative Construction of Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone".
Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone is expected to cooperate with Yiwu Land Port Group, Yiwu Type B Bonded Logistics Center, Yiwu Railway Port, YiXinEurope Express and other major open platforms to establish and operate companies in a market-oriented manner, further amplify the platform advantages of Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Yiwu's international trade comprehensive reform pilot advantages, and promote the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade. In the next step, we will follow the requirements of "leading the way and jointly building Jinhua", uphold the principles of co-construction, sharing and win-win, integrate resources and strength, strive for policy support, build a large-scale open cooperation mechanism, and accelerate the creation of a new engine that connects with the "Belt and Road" construction and integrates into the Yi-Ning-Zhou open channel.
The journey is long and the ambition is great. It is reported that next year, the construction of the first phase of the "Jinyibao" project will continue to advance, and it is planned to start construction of 174,300 square meters of bonded warehouses, cold chain warehouses, bonded processing plant buildings and other projects.
In addition, next year we will accelerate the application for the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone pilot, vigorously introduce advanced manufacturing, cross-border platform operators, international traders, logistics operators, and financial service providers, accelerate the cultivation and formation of complete industrial chains such as processing trade, general trade, cross-border e-commerce, market procurement, O2O display and sales, create an import and export commodity distribution center, and play a radiating and driving role in the local economy as soon as possible.
Currently at the "Jinyibao" construction site, the main construction of the hotel building has been completed and is being renovated; the construction of the Wangcang cross-border central warehouse project is proceeding in an orderly manner. Next, with "Jinyibao" as a new fulcrum for entrepreneurship, the development of cross-border e-commerce business will be further boosted.
