Yesterday, the preparatory meeting for the "Western China (Chongqing) International Logistics Industry Expo" scheduled to be held at Chongqing Nanping International Convention and Exhibition Center on November 26, was held in the 210 conference room of the Chongqing Municipal Government Port Logistics Office. More than 60 logistics companies in our city attended the meeting, including Chongqing Port Logistics Group, Chongqing Airport Group, Chongqing Transportation Group, Chongqing International Logistics Group, Yuxinou Company, New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co., Ltd., Chongqing Public Transport ASEAN, Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, Chongqing Highway Logistics Base, and Minsheng Shipping. The meeting was chaired by Wang Jing, deputy director of the Port Logistics Office of the Municipal Government, and attended by representatives from the Municipal Postal Administration and the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce.
At the preparatory meeting, the person in charge of the Chongqing Expo Organizing Committee first gave a detailed introduction to the relevant exhibition situation of the Chongqing Expo from five aspects: "exhibition overview, exhibition highlights, display content, forum activities, and preparation status."
Next, Li Jin, Secretary-General of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce, the organizer of the exhibition, said that the Municipal Trade Promotion Council and the Chongqing International Chamber of Commerce will devote all their efforts to the work of this expo, vigorously invite district and county trade promotion branches and international chamber of commerce member units to participate in the exhibition and conference, and at the same time do a good job in inviting important guests and planning and organizing important conferences and forums.
Wang Yiding, director of the office of the Municipal Postal Administration, said that this exhibition is large in scale and has a wide influence. Our express logistics companies must actively participate and be highly integrated. In terms of exhibition and display, we must improve the level of exhibition, focus on reflecting the industry's leading position in the market and reflect advanced products and services. All express delivery companies in Chongqing should make good use of this advantageous platform, report the preparations for the Chongqing Logistics Expo to the headquarters, comprehensively invest in human resources and logistics, reflect the advantages of the headquarters, and showcase the overall brand image.
Wang Jing, deputy director of the Port Logistics Office of the Municipal Government, affirmed the preparatory work of the Chongqing Logistics Expo Organizing Committee and delivered a speech. Deputy Director Wang Jing said:
(I) Chongqing Logistics Expo is an important communication and display platform for all enterprises in Chongqing's logistics industry, and is also one of the important sections of the Chongqing Municipal Government Port Logistics Office's services to enterprises.
(II) All departments, institutions and industry associations should play the role of natural links and actively invite enterprises to participate in conferences and exhibitions.
(III) Logistics enterprises in our city that intend to participate in the exhibition should carefully prepare the exhibition content, showcase the highlights of the enterprise and the characteristics of the products, and focus on introducing advantageous projects that attract attention and impress the audience.
(IV) We must deepen the negotiation work and do a good job in organizing project collection and matching negotiations.
(V) We must do a good job in exhibition approval and normalizing epidemic prevention and control.
