How to set up an Amazon FBM return address?

Many sellers generally have two delivery channels, FBA and FBM, but they all encounter the same problem, that is, buyers are not satisfied with the goods and ask for a return.

Since FBA is directly managed by Amazon Logistics, all returns from buyers through this channel are returned to the Amazon warehouse, and the seller is not responsible. But FBM is shipped by the seller himself, so the return issue must also be resolved by the seller himself. Many sellers of low-value products may just give them directly to customers, and usually the customer is refunded. However, for products with high value, sellers will generally choose to allow customers to return the products, otherwise the losses will be greater.

So how to set the return address for FBM orders? If the seller has an overseas warehouse or a cooperative third-party warehouse locally, then the return can be made locally. If there is no overseas warehouse, you can also choose to return it to China, but the shipping fee will be more expensive.

Here is a brief introduction on how to set a specific return address.

The first step is to click [Return Request] on the backend homepage;

Step 2: Click [Edit Return Settings];

Step 3: Click [Return Address Settings];

Step 4. Click [Set Address];

By default, all returns are sent to the same address. If they are all sent back to China, you can set the domestic address once. However, if you have different overseas warehouses in different countries, you need to set them up separately. At this time, you can click [Add new coverage content] to set the new address.

Step 5: Fill in the specific address information and save it.

Note: Whether the buyer needs to return the goods, who will bear the expenses incurred in the process, whether the whole process is cost-effective, and how big the impact on customer experience is... There are many issues that the seller needs to consider. After weighing the pros and cons, a better solution can be chosen.
