How to view keywords in Google Trends?
First: Register an account
If some of you have never used Google Trends before, you first need to use Google search to find Google Trends, and then register an account before you can continue using it.
Second: Enter keywords
Enter the main keyword (e-commerce) you want to set into the search box and click the search function.
Third: Observe search trends
After clicking search, observe the keyword search trend and then determine whether it is worth investing based on the trend.
What can Google Trends do?
1. Keyword Research
Keyword research and hot topic research are the two main functions of Google Trends. The keyword research function can play the following roles:
Understand the performance of keywords in different countries, cities, and time; understand the main markets for keywords and products; understand topics related to keywords and further understand audience characteristics.
2. Hot topic research
Hot Topics is another important feature of Google Trends. Hot search terms can achieve the following functions: understand customer needs through popular product search topics, and customize related websites and marketing content. Identify seasonal marketing trends and create promotional content at the right time.
3. Obtain accurate traffic data
If you want to see traffic data for a certain keyword, you can compare that keyword to a keyword that you already rank for and are familiar with its traffic levels.
Although Google Trends won’t show you exact traffic data, once you know the traffic for one keyword, it will be easier to understand the traffic level for another keyword.
4. Schedule content releases
Based on the keyword trends provided by Google Trends, you don’t have to spend time guessing the timing of publishing content. Searches for “HowTo” questions increased on Sunday and Monday, while searches for “NearMe” questions increased on Friday and Saturday.
If your website or podcast is about skill sharing or a hobby, then posting your content on Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday and sending an email to your subscribers might be the best approach.
