What is QIMA?
QIMA was originally founded in Hong Kong as AI Asia Inspection. It has 30 offices and more than 3,000 employees from 60 nationalities, and operates in more than 85 countries and regions.
In 2018, QIMA was renamed from AI Asia Inspection to QIMA in order to better reflect the global business scope of QIMA and the technology-assisted services provided by QIMA.
As early as its inception, the company invested heavily in developing an industry-leading information technology service architecture. This investment will allow QIMA customers to manage schedules, access reports, and gather supply chain intelligence online faster and more easily through the QIMA website or the QIMA mobile app.
This process is designed for all supply chain professionals, covering procurement, product quality and safety, supplier management and compliance. Within 48 hours of ordering, an inspector or auditor will arrive at the factory and a detailed report will be compiled and available online on the same day of inspection.
