Today I will talk about the complete process from registering an Amazon account to uploading products and then shipping them to FBA. Let newbies in Amazon have a clear understanding of the system.
First, register an account and choose the site you want to register, the US site, the European site or the Japanese site. You can select the corresponding site on the global store page to register yourself. The URL is as follows: https://gs.amazon.cn/
You can also click on "Sell on Amazon" at the bottom of the corresponding site's front page to register. For example, on the US site, go to the front page www.amazon.com and scroll down to Sell on Amazon to register. As shown below
If you need support from an investment manager to help you sign up for platform promotions, you can contact the investment manager to register and register through the registration link provided by the investment manager.
Information required for registration: email address, mobile phone number, bank card, dual-currency credit card, business license (ID card can be used for personal registration), and legal person ID card.
After successful registration, the background page is as follows:
After registration, you need to upload products for sale. It is best to choose the products before deciding to open a store, and don’t open a store blindly.
In the inventory options, click Manage Inventory and select Add New Product in the upper right corner to start creating a listing.
Go to the Create page.
Select Create New Product Information to create and enter the creation page. Select the category of the product you want to sell.
After selecting the category, enter the page for filling in the product title and description, as follows:
Select UPC for Product ID. UPC can be purchased on Amazon’s official website or on Taobao. If you are worried about safety, you can purchase it on the official website. Just fill in the rest as required. This page must be filled out entirely in English and cannot contain Chinese characters. The corresponding site of the European station should also be in the language of the corresponding country.
In this step, there is an option Fulfillment Channel at the bottom of the Offer item to select the delivery channel.
If you choose the first one, the seller will deliver the goods by himself. After the buyer places an order, the seller will choose the courier company to send it to the buyer. If you want to switch to FBA delivery later, you can click Convert to Amazon delivery on the editing page.
If you choose the second one, it will be Amazon delivery, which is often called FBA delivery. This requires preparing to ship to the Amazon warehouse after creating the listing. Shipping to the warehouse will be discussed below.
After the listing is created, click Ship/Replenishment in the edit area to start creating shipments to the Amazon warehouse.
After filling in the shipping address and shipping quantity, click Continue to the next step. Label the merchandise. Download the electronic label automatically generated by the system and stick it on each product and the outer box.
After the product is labeled, it is ready to be shipped to Amazon. You can contact the first-leg logistics company that can deliver to the warehouse, or you can use Amazon's first-leg logistics service. Please ask the logistics service provider for the specific price based on your location. After the products arrive at the warehouse and are inspected and accepted, FBA products will officially start to be sold.
At this time, it is necessary to carry out product operation promotion, advertising, etc.
If you do not choose FBA delivery, but instead ship the product yourself, the product will start selling normally after the listing is created. Since self-delivered products do not have a shopping cart at the beginning, they cannot be advertised and can only choose other promotion methods. After receiving an order, I pack the products myself and send them to the buyer via Amazon official carriers such as SF Express and E-Post.
