Which types of products will be subject to dangerous goods review?
Amazon will ask you to provide a Product Ingredients Information Sheet in the following circumstances:
1. Finished cosmetics (such as perfume and nail polish);
2. Lithium batteries or products containing lithium batteries;
3. Non-dangerous goods;
4. Products containing magnetic materials.
What should I do if I encounter a dangerous goods inspection?
The main thing is to ensure that suppliers can provide sufficient information to prove that the products can be used safely with their substances and mixtures:
(1) Product ingredient information sheet (only applicable to products without MSDS/SDS report)
(2) Manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheet/Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS report)
MSDS - Material Safety Data Sheet
1) Chemical Safety Data Sheet, which can also be translated as Chemical Safety Data Sheet or Chemical Safety Data Sheet. It is a document used by chemical manufacturers and importers to explain the physical and chemical properties of chemicals (such as pH value, flash point, flammability, reactivity, etc.) and the possible hazards to the health of users (such as carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, etc.).
2) Internationally known as “Chemical Safety Information Card”. In European countries, MSDS Material Safety Data Sheet is also called Safety Technical/Data Description SDS (Safety Data Sheet). The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 11014 uses the SDS terminology, while the United States, Canada, Australia, and many Asian countries use the MSDS terminology.
3) MSDS is a comprehensive legal document on the characteristics of chemicals that chemical manufacturers or sellers provide to customers in accordance with legal requirements. It provides 16 items including the physical and chemical parameters of chemicals, flammability and explosion properties, health hazards, safe use and storage, leakage disposal, first aid measures and relevant laws and regulations. MSDS can be written by the manufacturer according to relevant rules. However, in order to ensure the accuracy and standardization of the report, you can apply to a professional organization for its preparation.
