2. What are the requirements for brand application qualifications for Amazon Brand Registry?

To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have a valid registered trademark in each country where you wish to register. Your brand’s trademark must be a text-based or image-based trademark type consisting of words, letters, or numbers. Depending on where your trademark is registered, eligible trademarks may be classified differently by the local trademark office.

Precautions

We currently only accept trademarks issued by the government trademark offices of the United States, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Australia, India, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have a valid registered trademark in each country where you wish to register. 3. Three steps to Amazon brand registration!

You need to complete the following steps:

Log in to Amazon Brand Registry. If your trademark meets the eligibility requirements, you can log in using your existing Seller Central or Vendor Central account. If you don't already have an Amazon account, create a free Amazon account.

3. Step 3

Register your brand. During the registration process, you will need to provide the following information:

✔ Brand name with a valid registered trademark

✔The associated government registered trademark number

✔ List the product categories your brand falls into (e.g. apparel, sporting goods, electronics)

✔ List the countries where the brand’s products are manufactured and distributed

Pay attention! During the registration process, please fill in the following information correctly to avoid your application being rejected:

✔The brand’s trademark information must be consistent with the information registered on the official website of the local Trademark Office. Some common reasons for application rejection are as follows:

The trademark is not in a valid registration status

Unable to find relevant trademark information in the application

A type of trademark based on pure images, without words, letters or numbers

The trademark type is incorrectly filled in, for example: it is a word trademark, but a pattern trademark is mistakenly selected, or vice versa

The uploaded design mark image does not match the mark record
